On Friday, 27 March 2026, the inauguration of a new electric vehicle charger took place at the facilities of the Science and Technology Park of Patras (STP Patras), marking another step toward sustainable development and green transition.
Pleiades Innovation Ecosystem, which operates from and is hosted within the Park’s facilities, took the initiative to actively contribute to upgrading the STP’s infrastructure by sponsoring a modern dual EV charger valued at €4,000.
This new infrastructure meaningfully strengthens the STP’s role as a dynamic hub for innovation and entrepreneurship, while also enabling employees and visitors to charge their electric vehicles, promoting sustainable mobility in daily life.
Of particular significance is the fact that the Science and Technology Park of Patras will retain the revenue generated from the charger’s operation, gaining an additional revenue stream that supports its long-term sustainability and growth.
This initiative stands as a prime example of collaboration among companies operating within the STP, highlighting the importance of collective contribution to building a strong ecosystem.
In this context, the President and CEO of STP Patras, Prof. Vassilis Loukopoulos, warmly commended Pleiades Innovation Ecosystem President Antonis Cassano, and extended his sincere thanks to Managing Director Spiros Mazarakis and Alexandros Papageorgakopoulos — who oversees and manages Pleiades’ Patras office — for their decisive contribution and support in realising this initiative.

The inauguration was attended by STP President and CEO Prof. Vassilis Loukopoulos, Regional Councillor and Board Member Lykourgos Stavroulopoulos, and STP staff. Representing Pleiades Innovation Ecosystem were Managing Director Spiros Mazarakis alongside colleagues including Alexandros Papageorgakopoulos, head of the Pleiades Patras office.
